My client is an innovative customer-centric software development company that is conveniently located in the heart of San Francisco's financial district. They develop the core software applications that power the largest DRM-free MP3 store in the world, which has a catalog of 10 million songs from all the major music labels.
Position Overview:
* You will be responsible for feature development of our Android music application
* You will be developing in Java, relying on world-class service-oriented infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services
* You will be interacting and cooperating with other developers and affiliated companies
Required Experience:
* Passion for building great user interfaces!
* Must possess a thorough understanding of both client and web application architectures, having a firm understanding of software development principles
* Must have experience developing high-quality, mass market PC or mobile applications. Previous internationalization experience is a plus
* 5+ years of client software development experience, using Java, C#, or C++
* Prior experience with web development is a big plus (AJAX, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash, JSP/PHP/ASP, Python, Ruby, Perl, etc.)
* BS/MS in CS, or equivalent
* A proven ability to learn and adapt to new, complex development environments
* Superb analytical skills, excellent communication, strong team ethic, and attention to details - be meticulous!
