You will be joining a small but highly-motivated team where you will be able to show creativity and be responsible from design stage all the way through to deployment. <br /> <br /> You will work within an open development environment with the opportunity to advance your skills in LAMP. <br /> <br /> Qualifications: <br /> <br /> •3-5 years experience programming in object-oriented PHP. Preferably experience with PHP 5.3 features (Name Spaces etc) <br /> <br /> •Familiarity with Object-Oriented design patterns and how they are used in software design. <br /> •BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent experience. <br /> <br /> •A strong understanding of XHTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript. <br /> <br /> •Experience in MySQL or any relational database is a must. <br /> <br /> •Experience with AJAX and other Web 2.0 technologies, Ideally jQuery or similar. <br /> <br /> •Strong documentation and communication skills. <br /> <br /> •Experience with the use of source code control systems (subversion, cvs, etc). <br /> <br /> •Must document code faithfully <br /> <br /> •Good understanding of server management and coding practices. <br /> <br /> •Strong Linux Administration ability for tools such as LDAP, Apache, Subversion, PHP, Mysql <br /> <br /> Candidates must have current work authorization in the UK.
