Walden's client company is thriving with a strong startup culture and super dynamic "can do anything" development team.
Our client seeks an outstanding Senior PHP Developer to join their team in this exciting growth phase. You will be joining a small but highly-motivated team where you will be able to show creativity and be responsible from design stage all the way through to deployment.
You will work within an open development environment with the opportunity to advance your skills in LAMP.
Qualifications:
•3-5 years experience programming in object-oriented PHP. Preferably experience with PHP 5.3 features (Name Spaces etc)
•Familiarity with Object-Oriented design patterns and how they are used in software design.
•BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
•A strong understanding of XHTML, CSS, XML and JavaScript.
•Experience in MySQL or any relational database is a must.
•Experience with AJAX and other Web 2.0 technologies, Ideally jQuery or similar.
•Strong documentation and communication skills.
•Experience with the use of source code control systems (subversion, cvs, etc).
•Must document code faithfully
•Good understanding of server management and coding practices.
•Strong Linux Administration ability for tools such as LDAP, Apache, Subversion, PHP, Mysql
