Summary
We need a front-end/customer-facing web developer to create and enhance the end-user site experience and to launch new features. The scope of work includes writing new pages, measuring the effectiveness of existing pages using a/b testing, and a site redesign later this year.
The core skills required are DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Nice-to-have skills are Magento, basic MySQL, UX design, subversion, memcached, scp, and graphical design (Photoshop, Dreamweaver, etc)
The platform is Linux (RHEL), NGINX, Fastcgi, Magento (CMS), PHP, MySQL, and memcached.
Minimum qualifications include:
•Experience/ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.
•Experience working on a website that is high traffic, high volume and high data transactions.
•Experience in working in all phases of the development cycle.
Compensation includes competitive salary for a start-up and DOE, benefits (health care), and option grants.
