\nApplications Developer. The successful applicant will join a diverse team of talented individuals in developing Rich Internet Applications for

Responsibilities
\nAssist with implementation of project architecture
\n\u2022 Research, identify and document technical requirements
\n\u2022 Determine and identify appropriate technologies to be used
\n\u2022 Develop and document the system architecture
\n\u2022 Create data flows and database schemas

\n

Assist with implementation of project design, standards and processes
\n\u2022 Develop and document the high-level technical design
\n\u2022 Identify project tasks and define task definitions
\n\u2022 Assist in developing technical project schedules, plans, task assignments
\nand time estimates
\n\u2022 Provide senior project staff with full communication of project progress

\n

Assist with development and maintenance of project code
\n\u2022 Take an active role in development of low-level design
\n\u2022 Develop code in keeping with established processes and standards
\n\u2022 Debug and unit test modules before deployment to QA environment
\n\u2022 Assist deployment staff by providing necessary documentation
\n\u2022 Create and maintain project documentation, in accordance with established standards

\n

Required Skills
\nEducation and Technical Experience
\n\u2022 BSc. in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience
\n\u2022 Strong understanding of object oriented programming and languages such as
\nPHP,RoR, C etc.
\n\u2022 Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL
\n\u2022 Experience with a revision control system
\n\u2022 Experience with AJAX, CSS, Javascript an asset
\n\u2022 Experience designing and implementing interfaces using Prototype,
\nScriptaculous, or other AJAX UI libraries an asset
\n\u2022 Experience with Flash programming and manipulating multimedia files
\n(photos, videos, etc.) an asset
\n\u2022 Ability to reliably plan, describe and implement a solution to software problems
\n\u2022 Flexibility in the adoption of standard tools

\n

\n\u2022 Excellent organizational skills
\n\u2022 Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and meet tight deadlines
